Chickens free-range on pasture within an electric mesh net to keep out predators. Chickens are moved to fresh pasture weekly. They eat grasses, forbs, bugs, and whatever else they can find. Their impact from scratching and pooping leaves behind valuable fertilizer which contributes to future grass growth and vitality for our farm. Chickens are also given locally sourced and milled grain.

Our CSA runs from July through November with pickups twice a month (10 CSA drops total).

Pickups will be Friday afternoon in Ashland from 4-6 pm.

Option 1: One whole chicken (averaging 4.5 lb) reserved for you every other week.
